The Memory of an Old Song As I sat at my desk by the window on that foggy morning, my eyes trained on the paper in front of me, I wondered if perhaps the words that appeared as my hand flew across the page might bear some truth. The progeny of inspiration is music, I wrote, and of music, inspiration is the progeny. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

So... I haven't been on this site since February. Wow. o.O It's the end of my summer holidays, sadly. I go back to school on the 30th, which is in four days now. Actually, that depends on what my parents decide - I might miss the first week because people will just be coming back from vacation and might be carrying the swine flu...which scares the crap out of me, it does, but what scares me more is the sheer number of makeup exams I'm going to have when I  get back. That's right - my school gives exams in the first week of school, and every week after that until the end of the academic year. Yeah, it sucks. The worst part is I won't have go

At My Desk, By the Foggy Window

...not really, heh. The window's not foggy. In my opinion, I'm way better at writing than I am at drawing. So I've decided to start submitting some of my stories - well, I don't really call them stories. They're just short passages about something random I was thinking about, and they seem like extracts from novels (and I don't mean that they are written as well as an extract from a novel would be - I mean because it looks like they fit into a plot of some sort). It's a new year! I'm no longer on vacation, it's back to school for me-_- So this is probably the last time I will make an entry (not that I think anyone reads this... =P) for a long time - I have millions of make-up tests to study for and a load of work to catch up to. So bye-bye (:
